Nitrous Problems! Please help!!!
Hey everybody,I've been following this site for a few weeks now and it seems to be the place for LS1 questions & such so I decided I would join since there's so much cool stuff here. Anyways, I have a 2002 Siverado 4.8l that I run a Nitrous Express Gen-X wet system on and for some reason or another the motor doesn't seem to like anything more than a 75 shot... anything more and the motor detonates and retards the timing. I am running 2-steps colder plugs and have even run the motor on stock timing and I get the same result. The top end of the motor is completely stock save for a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit. If anyone has any ideas please let me know... the 75 shot is great but I want more!!! Thanks and congrats on a great site!
WITH A 75 SHOT DUDE..... # 1 GOOD FUEL # 2 GOOD FUEL PUMP....;AN #3 THE MOST INPORTING IS SOME BODY THAT CAN TUNE YOUR P.C.M.;
THAT;S WHAT YOUR
NEEDS............. THAT;S WHY YOUR RIDE DETONATES
CAN U DIG IT''
I know a 75 shot! It still ran a 14.0 1/4 on my g-tech meter and that was before the gears, fans, and the stall! About the PCM, I hear Nelson is the way to go, any thoughts on that? Oh yeah, it knocks even with 93 oct. gas. Runs fine w/o the spray, too. Thats a sweet T/A man!
