mongo launches? do you mean ones with lots of wheels spin and wheel hop. i know my car turns tires into smoke real quick with the 4:10 gears. im using the eagle F1 GSD3 245/40/zr18 i cant really launch anything higher then 1500 rpms. but thats on the street. i dont race on the track too much.

when mouting my huge 15 lb bottle, is it CRUCIAL! that the valve point to the front of the car, i want to mount it in the trunk

Not allways, my friend mounted his side-ways (15) and turned pick-up slightly as per instructions from NOS. He posted pics on corvetteforum.com in n2o section-c5's and explained why/what. Just do a search for chris stewart in that section, for insight.
