Default Dyno #'s with PRC heads and FM-8 and 225 shot

Got a chance today to spend some time on the dyno, and make some Nitrous pulls.

100 shot 565rwhp 575rwtq

150 shot 602rwhp 675rwtq

225 shot 648rwhp 700rwtq

My motor setup consists of Futral Motorsports FM-8 cam, PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads, stock bottom end.

Nitrous system is kinda a frankenstein setup. Used to be a TNT ring kit, i since moved the Nozzles to the back side of the MAF. Also using a old style NX Maximiser. Last but not least Nitro Dave's Standalone Fuel system, That was by far the best buy for my N2O system. It make adjusting A/F ratio sooooo easy.

I'll post some graphs tomorrow.

Jim

Looks like your combo isn't that great for large nitrous huffs...

Going from 150-225 you only netted 46 rwhp and 25 ftlbs of torque. Id back it down to 175 and see what it picks up on those pills and make your choice of where to safely pill it out.

Either that or your pills arent right to really show 225rwhp.

Wonder if his feed line is a #4 and that's what's holding him back? He may need to step up to a #6.

The -4AN main line definately isn't the problem as it can flow enough nitrous for about double what he's spraying. The -3AN lines should also be good for 225hp worth of nitrous. Don't know about the jetting though since it's not our system, but I would suggest trying the 175hp setting like V6 Bird said. Up until the 225hp hit your making a little more than what the setting says so see if it does the same on the 175hp.

Actually on the last run.Was the bottle pressure still high and was the bottle still full. That makes a huge difference.

Im gladd to see you like the fuel system.
