Default Question about fuel line

Hey folks,

I'm putting a custom NX nitrous system together for my '02 SS. Originally I intended to use methanol so I didnt order the parts to hook up my stock fuel rail to the solenoid.

I decided i've been sitting on the project too long so I decided to switch to gasoline for now to get the ball rolling. I ordered the appropriate lines from my supplier, it showed up today and it appears to be a 18" -4 to -4 AN line.

They say to just unscrew the shrader valve and put the line on. My question is, wont this leak? I mean, the stock shrader doesnt have an AN bevel on the outside, does it?

My car's not handy so I cant check for myself.

Can anbody shed light on this?

Thanks,

Steve

Uncrew the schrader valve....Its like a tire core....Then screw your AN line over it and connect it to the Solenoid...Dont do this unless you are connected to the solenoid...Gas will go everywhere if you try to start it..lol

It won't leak, just be sure to remove the core of the shrader valve before connecting the line to it.

It is always a good idea to releave some pressure off of it as well, open the gas tank cap and depress all of the air out of it, get a little dixie cup, or a rag because a little fuel will come out, also I used a little gas safe teflon on the threads, yet some guys have not had to, so check it for leaks first before you seal it. GOOD LUCK
