I guess some technology has been thrown in since the last time I messed with the bottle. The "Maximizer" sounds like a great option. Who is the manufacturer? I'd like to get some more info on this, particularly the O2 input. Do you know if it has a scalable 5V input that is user programmable (IE: Can I use an output from my wideband controller?). My main concern with this setup is safety. I have a good bit tied up in this project and want to minimize the chances of falling victim to a "nitrous mishap". Obviously, any power adder is a timebomb if tuned/setup incorrectly (I come from a FI background). The car will be plenty fast without the bottle, I just want it for those "just in case" moments and the occasional trip to the strip.

Thanks,

Ryan

*Edit* Oh sweet, found it. Go figure, FJO product. Should work good with my WB then
Ryan,
Thanks for asking.
I do have a question for you.In your first post you said you only intend on spraying a 100 shot.I will be honest with you.A directport will work for a 100 shot but is overkill.NXs single nozzle kit can spray up to 250 hp with no problem. If you are looking for more of the coolness factor I can understand. If you plan on spraying more in the future that may require a directport I understand. But if all you plan on doing is a 100 to 150 and are not doing it for the cool factor its really overkill. The maximizer will only work with the FJO wideband.
If you would like some one on one help fill free to send me a pm.I would be more than happy to show you the way and help you pick out a system best for your application.

Ouch,
I hope you really do not believe that the only difference is a fish engraving.
You are right any system will make HP.Quality is a whole different ball game..
You pay for quality and completeness.

You are confusing me with someone else. I didn't say I wanted to go with a 100 shot, I said 200 (for starters). Considering the forged bottom end I also mentioned in my post, this seemed appropriate with a nice direct port setup. Also, on the Maximizer, I also posted I have an FJO already Incidentally, I did already send you a PM but unfortunately you don't carry the setup I would like to go with. I appreciate your time and informative post though.

Credit where credit is due, I'm opting to copy the same setup T/A Medic has (or had?) on his car. NOS Pro Race system with NOZsels. I also opting to run a dedicated fuel system as well. This looks ideal, easy install with room to grow. This coupled with the new maximizer should allow a safety margin and perhaps help it hook a bit.

Hope T/A Medic doesn't mind the link:

wow, thanks for all the info guys!

Say i'd go with the "NX MAF kit, and the GEN-x2, and a window switch" What does that cost me!?

Keep in mind I have an LT1 (wish I had LS1 in this car!)

The car is stock other than the SLP loudmouth.
For the 3 parts listed above whats the install like?
(out of 5 stars 5=leave to professional 1=easy mod what would you rate the installation of these parts would be?)

I have no supporting mods other than the Cat-back as of now.. I am debating keeping or selling this car.. Its almost too nice to be modding up.

I am probably looking at buying Nos in the future for sure, but for now I will keep researching. I appreciate all the help guys, thank you!

Ryan,
Sorry I must have confused this thread with a pM or something. They all blend together after looking at the computer to long.LOL
YEs unfortintly we do not carry the NOS brand so I can only help you with the NX products.I can help you with the dedicated fuel system and the Maximizer.
Thanks
Dave
