Default Does anyone have a preference in nitrous filling stations?

Ive had a couple complaints on the NOS setup. Anyone prefer one filling station over another?

NOS
NX
TNT
Cold Fusion
Who else has them?

I own 3 stations:

NX, Zex, and NOS

Dont waste your money on the zex one. You can hear that thing pump like crazy, but nothing really happens. Kinda like an import...

The NOS one works pretty good, but the NX pump is the best, it pumps the fastest, and uses the least ammount of compressed air of the 3.

My NOS pump is 6 years old and still going strong. It does kinda suck with my little compressor though. I think it really needs like 13-14CFM@90psi and I run it at 5CFM.

Still takes less than 10 minutes to completly fill a 15 pounder though.

I have been through alot of pump stations. The NOS one in the past was not very good. Not sure about what they are using now.I Recently had to replace the one that I have used for the last three or 4 years. It was the black NX one.Workes awesome and took a great beating.I did not put oil in it while letting it set up when we moved. The rings rusted to the cylinder wall and ruined it.
I recently went to NXs new all billet pump. There is not another one on the market like it.I used it at the last race and it worked great.I have sold many of these and have had no complants on them.
The NX pump stations come with a Nice digital scale, water seperator, nitrous filter, ecominizer valve, billet pump, hoses and fittings.
I went with the NX one because of the great history I had with there last pump. This new one is suppose to be better and use less air.
However they cost quite a bit more than other companys pump stations due to how complete they are.You can order them with out a scale though.

We have been using a NOS pump for the last 3 year with no problem. It sees 120psi and will fill a 10 lb bottle in less than 2 min.

Default Nos filling Station

Gentlemen,
Tried my NOS pump yesterday, and it won't operate, just wondering if
anyone has an old NOS catalog with a part # for my pump, it looks like a
flying saucer. I believe their is a spring missing, maybe. I e-mailed
NOS to see if they have a exploded view of my pump or a rebuild kit,
waiting for response. If I new the part # I can look on their Website and
find rebuild instructions. I can wait until they e-mail me back or I can get help from you guys.

Later:

Off the Holley website, http://holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R10338.pdf . Not sure if they sell individual parts. Complete rebuild kits are about $350 last time I checked.

Question on the NX Station...

Do you have to hold the button in while your pumping? From reading the instructions I get that impression.

How much nitrous does a mother bottle hold and how much for an exchange on one? Do you need a nitrous scale, or is any scale OK?

Thanks for the reply, but I am talking about a bottle used for a filling station. A mother bottle. I searched and found 50-65lb bottles.

Yep, most mother bottles are 50-65lbs. Here it's about $2.00lbs for nitrous, plus a $37 yearly bottle lease. It's another $8 for delivery/pick up and hazmatt if I don't feel like lugging around a 225lbs bottle.

Check out Ebay for scales made by J-Ship. They are very good digital scales for the money. Accurate, all stainless, and tough as hell. Think I paid $75 for my 265lbs J-ship.

HERE I pay 187.00 for 60 # + 60 per year per rent bottle from local welding supply, not saving much money ( COST 38.00 @ SPEED SHOP for 10 #) but nice to have @ home
