Default Nozzle/jet selection and location

What style/mfg nozzle and what jets can be used to make a dry kit producing 50 and 75hp? Also, Im guessing all dry kits must go before the MAF, but if i go so far as to put the nozzle before the air filter will that cause any problems or make it lose HP? thanks in advance!

Yes before the MAF. I like after the filter, but some claim no difference if before filter. Too many nozzle types/brands to answer jetting question. If you have an idea of a nozzle you want to use: single/dual and brand will be easier to answer.

You should put it after the filter. Dirty filter = less air and N02.

I wanted to run a single nozzle, I have Super powershot solenoid(s) which i think have a .043 max orifice. The nozzles I had in mind were the Edelbrock #72551 or the NOS #13500NOS fan spray nozzle. I saw the 5177 Kit tuning suggestions, but that uses two solenoids, does it change for a single solenoid? I dont think I could use a fogger nozzle, but maybe so if I took a "Y" off the solenoid and ran two n2o lines to the fogger instead of one gas/one n2o.

Overall, I'm looking for is 50 and 75 to add some extra kick during certain events around town, if you know what I mean. Simple, clean, tough to spot install, etc.

The powershot noids have an approx .076 orifice (measured the best I could with dial calipers) which can support about a 150hp shot. The dual n2o noids (redudant) are for safety as about the only problem you'll have with dry is a noid sticking open, 2 sticking open at same time 0 chance. I think either nozzle should work, and yes you can run a line to the fuel side on nozzle, it's been done. Remember, running two n2o jets is figured differently than a single jet.

If you put the nozzle in front of the filter it will condense moisture in the air and freeze on the filter causing alot of problems
