Question How much timing should I pull?

I have a NX wet kit.My Tuner has me set up very conservitively.I wanted the whole 150(I am Greedy). On the Dyno he has me making only 54 HP but 103 TQ at the wheels. He has me pulling 4 degrees of timing out.I was under the understanding that you pull out 1 degree for every 50 HP?Should I only pull out 2 degree's or stay with 4?What's your opinions? Thanks!

54hp at the wheels on a 150 shot? Something is definitely not right. I run around 22* at WOT on a 150 shot, 28* on motor. I went with the old sbc 2-per-50 rule, I know most LS1 people say 1-per-50 should be fine as long as you dont have knock, but I'm just playing it safe.

**** for a 150 shot I just mix a couple gallons race gas with a couple pump and run it, full NA tune, and made for some good times, use TR 6 plugs though.

I run about 28* NA and about 25* when spraying but Im running 116 octane in a standalone fuel system for the nitrous and it runs perfectly on a 225 shot.
