The blowing of a fuse would cost the end user money once installed. The reset will probably be nothing more than just toggle the arming switch so the module resets.. Thats all.

Let us know how the new device will compare to Dyno Jets sampling rate and the ability to react & shut the system down.

I can wait for a little while to see what you guys come up with.
Sample rate is 250 times a second. Faster than you engine fire cylinder 1 at 7000 rpms... So its safe to say we can catch the smallest lean problem.. Also you choose the amount of time you are confortable at the lean spot you pick...

FJO calibrates all there boxes and sensors to a specific standard they are comfortable with.. the can not guarantee the accuratcy of the other sensors on the market.

Where you will have a PC to program your controller couldnt you let the folks setup the o2 sensor output on the screen? Im not sure why it would be FJO secific?
The Dynotune a/f switch will work with the LC-1 LM-1 or factory narrowband sensor.
We all know that the factory sensors are not super accurate in the rich region but they do work well in the leaner region....
Dan
Not sure how easy it is to build but I am sure will not take FJO long.
First question got confused on.. FJO calibrates the sensors and boxes. Dan you got the narrow band market buddy.

Now THIS is an awesome product and really the ONLY way to virtually N2O proof a tune.

so to run this i'll need an FJO controller, a wideband, and then the sensor? sounds pricey if you ask me.

I have no effing idea what you guys are talking about

All I know is I want a device for a basic NX Wet Kit to prevent my motor from KABOOM when something goes wrong.

And don't say the FPSS will do it because much of the jury does not like this device for reliability's sake...

I agree, we should be adding the rich side of things shut down also.

Not really when you put all in perspective.. dyno time tuning the car, knowing the air fuel once you leave the dyno at all time, (if you have the gauge), and saving you engine if a problem pops up.. I think it will be reasonable...

This will be the safest way to save your engine... NOw if you go and put 250 on it and air fuel is good but your timing is thru the roof, your engine will still go pop... this is a safety and tuning tool to make you system what ever that system is the safest it can be....

Ricky, is the FJO set-up compatable with HP Tuner? From HP Tuner you can get a special input cable to allow WB to be data logged in place of NB. I know it supports LM1 and a few others, just have to set-up input analog voltage I believe. This would be nice as the tuner guys like to have all info in spreed sheet type config, for cross reference.

The wide bands have 2 inputs that it can monitor but I have not asked FJO if it has outputs.. You would think I know this one since the unit is on my truck but alasss I do not.. LOL
I will check right now.

Ok the FJO has 2 analog outputs 0-5 volt configureable... So if the HP tuners can read 0-5 volts you could plug this into that turner software.. You would set up the out puts...

Yep, that's exactlly what HP Tuner is looking for 0-5 volts. I'll check when I can and see if there is anything else, as in HPT it lists witch WB you select and then you set-up voltage if I remmber correctly. So, one that is not listed, not sure if you can still set-up. Maybe if JimmyBlue reads this, he can comment/answer.

You will have to configure the wideband output config file... Meaning this voltage is equal to this air fuel.. It lets you set in .5 steps, but the band understand the in-between areas.
