A 1.8L 150whp N/a motor keep in mind.

A ls1 has over 3 times the ammount of displacement.

I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of flames and the high number of serious responses in this thread.

With that in mind, I'd think strongly about running AEM or FAST aftermarket engine management. It'll give you maximum control over the engine and will do ANYTHING you want with timing, RPM switches, multi stage nitrous control, or whatever.

well the guy is the real deal, hes not just some punk kid connecting a dry kit to a stock motor. he seems cool, so we are cool with him...even if he drives an import

lol naw i'm j/p man. your car seems like it would be a good chalenger to modded LS1s. good luck with the buld.

listen to dave, hes the man with the plan.

just curious, why polish a turd? its still a turd.

the amount of money you put into that little 1.8 , you could have built a decent v8.

Now, I love big powerfull muscle cars, but there are different ways to go fast. My guess is he likes his civic and doesn't want to get a different car. lots of ci's, nitrous, fi, they all lead to the same thing...going fast. If he does have one advantage, he will go twice as far as us on a tank of gas

good luck man, I am not a fan of the route you are taking, but you will be kicking my ***, so I don't have much sway.

Never mind guys, I sold the motor today. I'm putting my stock as hell spare 1.6L block in the car and putting it up for sale. I'm thinking of joining the dark side and getting something with a V8 or factory turbo. It's time to move on, it shouldn't be so hard to have a 12 second car and maintain some level of reliability and comfort. I may try to pick up a M6 Formula to play with. I appreciate your suggestions though, I might still take some of them with my next car.
