TR6 affecting performance?
How will TR6 plugs affect performance when you are not spraying if they are gapped at .035? Just curious because I hardly use nitrous so I am wondering if I should put TR55 back in.
Spark plugs are more function than performance. They will not negatively affect your power. If you retarded timing, to go along with an XX/X shot of nitrous, THEN when not spraying you will see/feel a difference at the dyno/seat of the pants.
I use the TR6s with no noticible power/performance loss. Car runs smooth as ever. I gap mine @.038 though. And like you, I don't spray often, just nice to know it's there if you need it.

And if the gap isnt right, or too cold a plug the function part is fucked thus your performance will suffer.
You should be fine at .035" gap and TR6 NA, but depending on shot size, might open it up to .038-.040". Try and see if the burn is clean and timed correctly.
