Default 175 Shot + SES

So... I ran my car pretty hard the other day with a 175 shot and my SES started blinking. From what I know, that means misfire. A/F was somewhere between 11.8 and 12.5 the entire run. After about 15 seconds it stopped. It didn't do it the whole ride home, but I never sprayed anymore either. Should I be worried? I'm gonna check my plugs and wires to make sure all is good, but has this happened to anyone before?

thanks

Blinking ses means you have a major misfire problem. With that big of a shot unless you decreased the gap on the plug it could have blown out the spark. Are you at least using a tr6 plug. I would swap all the plugs out and check the condition of the ones in there to see if there is a lot of discoloration or pitting from a lean or knocking condition.

i had a flashing SES light and it wasnt the misfire code it was the fuel trim lean code, that was before my walbro 255 was installed.

Pulling timing? How much total? How is your fuel system set up?

I've had TR6s for a while now and gapped at .035. I have Racetronix's PNP pump for fuel, and throughout the entire run, my A/F was high 11s. No timing pulled yet... I'm still waiting for HPTuners' package to arrive.

I'll check the plugs though.

Thanks,

Scan the computer too, there should be a code stored.
