Default Need Help...wire came out during cam install.

Attached are pics...looks like a ground wire(I think) came out. If it is a ground wire, can I put it anywhere? The connector is still in there, and I cannot get it out for the life of me.

Thanks,
Jason

There is a little tab on the side of the metal connector you have to push to get it to come out. Kinda like the plastic locking connectors all over the car except it's just bend metal. If you need, we have the unassembled kits of these. Comes with the housing and all the pins. I can ship it out to ya if you can crimp or solder the metal connectors onto the wires then all you do is stick em up the hole and the will click and lock into place. Now you wouldn't have to rewire anything. I would send ya just one of the female pins, but they are all different kinds of sizes and probly wouldn't lock into place with the housing you have.

OR..................

cut the wires off of the houshing and go buy a little bag of the BLUE female blade crimp connectors. Then just put the rite wires onto the correct pins of the realy by sliding them over the post. Real easy, just doesn't look as nice thats all.

Thanks!

I do have some blue connectors...once I get in there. Can I test it? I think the way to test it is to leave it unplugged, activate the switch inside the car, and floor it. I should hear a click, right? Does that sound right?

Well, I got a new connector. It still does not work. I armed the system, and I did not hear a click. I pulled all the fuses...they are all fine. Anyone have any ideas??????

Thanks,
Jason

You may have some safety devices cutting the power or ground to your relay. Things like WOT switch or the FPS switch make it hard to test your system unless you bypass them.

Actually, I don't have a FPSS. I do have a WOT switch, how do I bypass that?

simulate WOT for the switch. Either tape the switch or connect the two wires manually.
