Default not working?

Well i have a nos 5177 kit and decided to make it a 2 stage but i dont think it worked. What i did was T off the block in between the safety noid and the
NOS noid were you put the little blocking screw ran some hose to another noid and T off that just like in the kit. So now i have the 2 hoses in the sides like the kit shows to do and 2 identical hoses in the neck with the same jetting. I ran with the second stage and without and it showed no improvement, it didnt even fell like anything more. I checked everything and they are all spraying. Anyone know why this may be? Someone told me that that does nothing anyone ever try it? I figured with my set up i made 77rwhp and with the exact same set up (jetting) for the second stage (Ted off noid) i should gain around another 77rwhp obviously its not exact but to feel no difference and show no better track times with no spinning, same 60' etc. I dont understand i guess you can say im not happy. well ive posted about going to a wet kit but people say stay with this just up the jetting so im gonna dyno the car onve the tranny is in and im gonna dyno it to 150 rwhp with the single stage keeping tabs on my inj. duty cycle. Guess the point of this is to see if anybody knows why this "second stage" is not working. Thanks

-Joe

I need a better description of your plumbing. Also...dod you change your jets. If you are still using the original nozzles that came with the 5177 one side should be for one stage and the other side should be the other stage. But you will now have to increase your jet sizes. If you were spraying a 77 shot before hand with both nozzles/jets you will have to increase the jet size so that now you have a 77 shot on EACH side.

What Al said. Now you have to consider each stage a single nozzle kit and the math for single nozzle = hp is different compared to dual nozzle = HP. If you need the math let me know. Also, you did turn one of your noids around didn't you. The noids inline like stock will flow about 150rwhp or so (with the correct jets). The reason to split them up is so you can go past the .076 orifice size in noid and double output to about 300hp.

For a better discription i have a stock 5177kit. At the point that the noids mount to the metal under the airlid there is a little block that connects the 2 noids and you screw a little screww in it so it doesnt just go out into the atmosphere. I ran a 3' hose of -3 to another noid behind my airlid. (3noids not including purge) This way i still have the safety noid and 2 for the 2 stages. The other noid is exactly like the regular kit only mounter on the backside of the lid and without the second noid for safety since it already passes this noid for before it is Ted off. The 2nd noid had a T on it and has 2 more lines coming off of it. So the airlid has a total of 4 lines in it, 2 at the neck and 2 at the base(factory spots for the 5177 kit) The 2 at the base hase a .034 and .039 which made 77rwhp and the 2 at the neck have a .034 and .039. Hope this helped some for explaing it.

Ok I understand how you plumb it. Window sws? Injector size and/or duty cycle? Something like this, mine works great.
Edit: what bottle pressure and how full or wieght?

Sounds like some sort of restriction (not enough n2o supply)? Something is def not working correctly. Check your FPSS if you have one (bypass it). Check again that it's really spraying, I have had this happen, check it was fine, went to use and no worky, a wire came off a sw.
