Default Dumb question for nitrous Experts

This 305 TPI I have, my stock timing is supposed to be at 6* with some hot plugs (say RV17YC champions) The car loves 10* so that is where it stays... no detonation or knock retard full throttle, 3rd gear.

Say i were to put 100hp plate on it.... could I be safe with some RV15YC plugs and 94 octane... and if I felt like 150hp should i mix in some 100 octane unleaded? thanks in advance.

Nick,
Yes that should be fine as long as those plugs are non platnum and one step colder. However you may still eed to pull some timing back out while spraying.
