Default New to Nitrous

Can anyone please explain to me what a "blow down tube" is, it would be greatly appreciated.

It's a tube that gets attached to the bottle valve. There is a burst disc that if the bottle pressure rises to high it blows releasing the nitrous into the atmosphere. So you attach the blow down tube to the nitrous bottle and should the disc burst the nitrous will exit the vehicle. Here's a picture of what they look like:

That helps alot i've seen that term before and couldnt figure out what it was but now i understand
