Have nitrous kit on the way and MSD digital window switch. Planed on 3200 to activate. But not sure where to set it to shutoff. My car is an 02 Z28 with A4. any help would be appreciated.

 

The main thing is to not hit the rev limiter while spraying. Stock rev is set at 6200 so I set my window switch to shut off at 5500, you could go closer to the rev limiter. I have my shift light set at 5800 so it all works out pretty good.

 

Should I set it to shut off before the shift point with an A4.

 

If you want to avoid any tranny problems down the road, I would suggest shutting it off 200 rpm before the shift. Shutting off 300 before is way to early and 100 before is to late and you spray into the shift.

 

yea you dont want to spray through the shift on a A4.
