Default Modify zex unit

Just wondering if anyone thinks it is possible to modify the zex unit with a nos solenoid.

I like the way the zex dry unit works to add fuel but my concern is that apparently nitrous controllers are not universal.

Rumor is you must use nos or crane nitrous controller for nos solenoids and nx/fjo for nx solenoids.

what progressive can I use with zex, or can I change the noid.

here is a pic of the zex unit

You should be able to use the NOS controller with the ZEX solenoids. You just need to know there amp draw.I beleive they are the same as NOS but I have never looked into them.

thanks for the help.

Just confused, the company says that nos, crane controllers will work it's just all this talk about solenoids and the frequency.

Not sure if that's true or just a myth, anyone know is there are different frequencies between the solenoids?

There is no reason why you can not use the FJO controllers such as the maximizer or the new 200 dollar controller either.
