Default welding fitting on stock rail

I need to weld a -4an fitting to the stock fuel rail on the passenger side on the back of the rail. However I am not sure what the stock rails are made of and where to get a fitting that will work. Anyone done this?

You can have a fitting silver soldered on the rail

Just silver solder a brass or steel fitting to it?

We did steel to my old LT1. just get a -4 to NPT fitting, and cut off the NPT portion. Then silver solder the base to the rail
