You don't want to use platinum plugs, but platinum and iridium are two very different metals.

I also use the NGK tr6ix plugs at .35 with no problems. There car idles much better with these over the old TR6 plugs I had which were good but idle quality was not there.
Forget about the coment that one "TOOL" made about the motor going boom. He has no idea what he is talking about.

I run Autolite 103's...NEVER liked the TR6.

I would think that would be fine as well. I have always stuck with .35 and have been fine.
