Step-by-step nitrous setup
I want to buy all new parts for a complete and safe setup. I'm looking at a dry 150 or 175 hit.
If I buy the kit, progressive controller, WOT switch, purge kit, remote bottle opener, and bottle warmer, rocker switch panel ... in what order should I buy these parts over time?
Financially, I can't buy everything at once and I'm afraid a new kit will come out which will make me wish I had waited to buy the stuff all at once.
Should I start collecting the parts now? If I wait I'll end up not putting the money away.

Are you going to start installing stuff or just looking to acquire? If you want to start installing see if you can swing the nitrous kit and controller at the same time so you can start installing everything, plus most kits come with a WOT switch. The reasoning behind that is if you add a controller last after the kit is wired up you'll have to re-wire everything.

I would by the kit, a window switch, a nitrous gauge, and a heater. The switch console will be a good thing to by while doing your install so you do not have to change any wiring. The remote opener is a luxury and you can add it later. Those are the most important things with a dry kit. Personally I feel a controller at that size shot is a waist of money.

I would do the kit first with heater.
make sure you run power to the trunk so its already there, that way its easy to add stuff back there like the opener. Plan Plan Plan. if you want a remote opener, run the wires when you put the heater in! Same with a remote pressure gauge.
Once you have the kit and heater in adding the other stuff is a snap.

You guys are very helpful. Thanks a lot. I may just go ahead and do it all at once. I was going with a DP setup, but, My engine work is $13,200.00+. The same day I picked the car up ... not a half mile form the shop, I blew the tranny ... took out my Yank SS3600. That's all gonna' be about $5,000. I just said the hell with it and went ahead and ordered a Strange 12-bolt with the full setup .. another $4,000 when it's all said and done.
I'm pretty discouraged right now about spending that much money ... there's more, new driveshaft, etc..
Can you guys email me with a dry kit setup that fits my needs as stated above and in my SIG? I may just go ahead and break down and buy the whole kit with accessories I mention. I need one jetted between 125-250 or somewhere close to that range.
Thanks.
