Fuel and Nitrous Supply questions
This was on motor.
At the track, I added a 100 dry shot. (more like a 75 shot due to the 700 psi bottle pressure)
Car did OK.
Currently, on the fuel side, I have a single Walbro GS340, and ford red top injectors.
Fuel pressure sits at 65PSI at idle, and about 59PSI at WOT on the spray.
I am adding a second stage (Wet) which will be composed of two shark nozzles. (up to 300 more HP) I have everything for the nitrous side, but I am unsure about fuel supply.
Should I:
a: Add a booster in line pump and feed everything off the main fuel system.
b: Build a complete standalone fuel just for the wet kit.
Also, I have all the parts I need to mount a second bottle and feed it on the nitrous side. But would prefer not too since I don't want to buy a second bottle heater. (only part I am missing), plus I don't want the extra weight.
So, teh question here is
How much nitrous can a 4AN main line provide?
Or should I bump up to a 6AN?
Robert
As for fuel supply you will deffintly need a stand alone.Check out our complete stand alone systems.
