I'm having problems figuring out how many cylinders to set it on. The instructions say put it on 1 cylinder but it reads idel at 2600rpm. When I put it on 4 cylinders it reads 600rpm about what the tach says. I also have a tps switch if that helps. G

 

On LS1 V8's you need to put it on 4 cyl. Mode. I know cause I have one.

Thanks, I'm about to hook mine up too and heard that an LS1 should set as be 4cyl but MSD's instructions do say 1 cyl. Someone should tell them their wrong.
