Default No2 and compression

looks at my sig. I was thinking of putting NO2 on my car when the AFR heads get bolted on. Ill have just under 11:01 compression and I was wondering if that is to much compression for a 100 shot. Ill also be putting in a new clutch at the same time

what's your thoughts?

Nope, not to much compression. Mine is about the same or a little higher than yours and I run alot bigger shot. N20 loves compression but head gaskets don't, lol.

Those are some really good power numbers in your sig man, that car ought to fly, I know mine does and mine aren't quite as high as yours. Wow

LOL...thats a whole other story. I was trying to get down the track with the 6 speed. But it just wasnt to be with that much power. Nothing would hold up and I got sick of spending on clutches. So I pulled out the entire drivline including motor and put in a stock longblock Cam only, rod bolts, and spray setup...but swapped to a TH400 with RMVB and T brake 4200 stall, etc. Im gonna get that all dialed in first...and think about swapping back in the 415 later. I dont have as much time as I used to to mess with the more race only oriented setups.

it's not so much the gasket as it is the clamping force provided by the head bolts or studs. I'm using Cometics but the block decks need to be properly prepared to use them to their full advantage. With as small a shot as you want to run you really shouldn't have any problems.

Phil's going to the bottle, look out! Phil, my new 347 is setup at 11.62:1 and I will be hitting it with a mid 2-300 in a couple weeks. I agree the HG issue, but IIRC you always use ARP studs/bolts already, so using a Cometic combined with them you shouldn't have any issues. I personally thing Phil is getting a little out of control, if anyones been in the Internal Section lately

I saw on the corvette forum a guy selling a system "new" and it was about $100.00 off. Its not bad price and since my heads and manifold will be off, I was getting stupid ideas of adding jucie.

Because Ill be getting a new clutch atthe same time, Im adding Abs of steel and a DTE rear brace.

also I have ARP head studs that will go on with the heads
