Default quick question about dry shot

okay, i've got a TNT F1 noid, i've searched and read that they'll flow up to 250hp shot.

NOW, the question is, how much HP would a set of 42lb/hr injectors support. my car makes ~400 rwhp now, and i'm looking to shoot another 200 through it.

question 2, is it a bad idea to pulse a dry shot, and can the F1 noid handel being pulsed?

thanks

Injector math:
(projected hp x .5) / 6.4 = min inj size to meet 80% duty cycle (math is for an 8 cyl)
so,
600 x .5 / 6.4 = 46.87lb'ers (svo 42lb'ers is 48.7lb'ers at our pressure)
However, don't be afraid to go over 80% for a 1/4 run, do it all the time.

Pulsing a dry hit should be fine, unless you have your nozzles real close to MAF. Check out the recent dry threads as we went into this. The TNT noid will be fine for pulsing, but if used, check it out first/rebuild as needed.

thank you very much robert56, i have read most of the threads and did catch a little bit on pulsing a dry shot, my nozel is on the side of the air lid a decent way from the MAF and actualy shoots across the front of the intake tract (left to right, not front to back as the TB is) thanks for the math, i'ma save that sure it'll come in usefull again!

Robert what is the formula to figure out what % duty cycle your injectors are at? I am running just over 500rwhp with Lucus 42.5lb injectors and a Walbro 255lph intank pump all on a dry shot.

Injector pluse width x (rpm / 1200) = Duty Cycle

and/or

1200 x (duty cycle / rpm) = Pulse width
