Default fuel system question

I have your average 02 bolt on Z06 (cai,headers,exhaust,ls1edit) tuned to 388whp. I am wondering if the stock fuel system (pump and injectors) are sufficient for a 125 shot from a 5177 kit. If not what kind of injectors and pump should I be looking at. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
John

shouldn't be a problem wth 125 or less...
Not sure what injectors a Zo6 has, but 30+# injectors,255 pump and a good tune would suffice for a little more.

Well, I have dyno'ed 480rwhp and 5xxtorque on the stock '02 28lb injectors and fuel pump, running the 5177 in dual stage mode. Fuel pump is good for a easy 550hp, and injectors can support quite a bit also, but that will have to be your call on how far to go. A fellow forum memebr in his vette is pushing 140% duty cycle on 28's with no issues.

for the extra saftey and room to go i would buy a set of ford 42lbs, they dont cost that much money anymore and youll never have to worry about the injectors again

Good advice, as I know have the ford svo 42's which are close to 48 at our pressure. Check the links section of my web site for injectors at a great price, another site link. Also, good n2o/Z06 info through out web site, for some insight, on 5177. If you don't already have the 5177, consider the Nitrous Direct PRO Dry which was based upon the 5177, however, upgraded in many ways, better quality kit at a better price, and everyone knows I like the 5177.

well i like the idea of 2 solenoids just incase and also I only need/want 1 nozzle for my setup. and your price is within $20 of the 5177 kit. I think I will still stick with the 5177 kit for now. Thank you for the options though

That's cool on the 5177, as I have two kits on my Z06. The 5177 is a dual nozzle that uses straight nozzles, so you need both to mix in middle of air box. the PRO Dry does have the option of redundant 400hp Pro noids and stainless steel nozzles, as standard. The PRO kit comes with 90* fan nozzles, which can be cut off for straights or one dropped and use a single, 5177 needs both nozzles.
