Default Nitrous Problems!

Hey guys my nitrous has been fine for the past week but all of a sudden when im going it just shorts out and then kicks back on and off repeatedly- i went through and recrimped all connections and covered all in electrical tape- but there is a small leak in the nitrous line between the purge and solenoid- could this cause something? ANY ideas?

Refill your bottle and try again. may just be getting empty. mine start acting that way when my bottle is around 3 pounds on a 10lb bottle.

ON and off while driving or just testing with your pushing the wot switch. The reason I ask, if your seat is too far back when you launch it could lift off the pedal and you would not know it.
If while testing the relay sounds like it has a bad ground.

Mine pulsed like that one time. My wot switch was too sensitive and was clicking on and off. I adjusted it to come on sooner or easier and it fixed the problem. Might help to check it.

mine comes on pretty easily (WOT switch)- im gonna put my money on that it is the leak in the purge fitting causing my problem along w/ low bottle pressure- the leak is noticable w/ hood down and engine running so im prolly loosing 100 to 200psi when its leaking which is bad to say the least.... so im gonna fix that saturday along w/ put on the bottle heater i hope!

well i got low bottle pressure and a small leak and alot of people are saying that low psi causes surging- and i will move the seat up farther- also the zex bottle mounts i think are a little low im gonna put a mount on the bottom of the front one to set it up a little higher- also im gonna replace the leaky fitting and get the bottle warmer and blanket on there and run 1000psi and see what happens then-

If it's not a leak...It still "sounds" electrical by your description. There really arn't that many places that you need to check. I really suggest that anyone who messes with electrical use a multi meter to check voltages. Maybe draw out a schematic of exactly what you have scan and upload it somewhere to be seen...it will benefit you and us to help you troubleshoot your system.

Is it the digital one, if so, it seems to be somewhat problematic. I run a couple of the pill type and they have been flawless.

Yep, sort of. That's a rpm activation sw, not a on/off window switch, but they both use the same pills.

You could eliminate the WS for a couple of days and see if things straighten out...just jump your circuit around the WS.
