Default When is a Timing Tuner Needed?

I'm running H/C (Patriot 5.3L stgII / TSP 231/237) and recently got an NX shark kit. I will hopefully be spraying a 125-150 shot on top of that setup. It is currently making around 405/395 to the wheels.

Will I need to pull timing out? If so would it be so much that I couldn't just tune it out with Edit or will it kill me running NA?

I'm trying to stay on budget but want to be safe as well.

Did you add any timing when you did your tune? If you did, depending on how much you added you might want to. You could take it out via Edit, but you'll be flashing back and forth a lot if you want to run max timing NA.

I think you need it if you get knock retard when spraying, indicating you may have too much timing.

I bumped it just a bit. No knock on the NA tune. It is set at 28.5 degrees from 3200 up.

You got the nitrous bug. I would pull out some timing to be safe. I would usually take out 2-3 degrees for a 150 hp system

If that is the case I don't think it will kill my NA runs much. Bumping about 2 degrees didn't do much either.
