Also curious as I am contemplating a Zex 150 shot due to the safety of this kit.

The kit is pretty nice and super easy to install. It's good for about 180-185hp if you want to push it that far. As far as safety, straight out of the box it's prolly a little safer than most, because of the TPS switch activation... it's screw up proof. I ran the wet kit at 75-100-125-150 with real nice results.

Nitrous was actually my first mod, but I didn't go over a 100 shot while it was still stock. I surprised a lot of cars though let me tell you. =)

Then I added a full set of boltons: headers, exhaust, cutout, cai, tuning, msd digital 6+ box w/ timing retard, etc and played around with 100-150 shot. Before the tuning I got the 100 shot dyno'd at 380rwhp/456ft-lbs. I tuned it with tunercat, just going off of a wideband o2 and running it on the street. Never got it dyno'd after tuning.

A few months later I added a 224/230 112 cam, and upgraded my valvetrain and ran a 150 shot. Never dyno'd it with this combo either.

N2O kit wise I had:

-Zex wet kit w/ my own pill sizes that calc'd myself
-Dynotune bottle heater w/ auto temp control
-MSD digital 6+ w/ a single stage timing retard
-Crappy bottle blanket

Default Not my favorite kit...

I had a Zex kit...sold it after a year and purchased an NX MAF. The Zex never performed up to my expectation past easy install. Not knocking Zex, it helped me go a little better but not anywhere near what some of the other kits will give you. Basically I out grew it.
