Default N2O Busting MAF wire

Is it possible on a dry shot that when spraying directly at the wires, that the nitrous could actually bend the wires?

I went to the track last week and was looking at one of my logs of a .050 jet (100rwhp app.) and noticed my timing was jumping into the all-motor g/cyl cells.

I just checked out the MAF and one of the wires is extremely bent 'towards' the intake stream... Or 'away' from the spray as if this could have actually happened.

I'm not using that large of a shot and I have a pretty safe distance between the spray and the MAF (9'')... Could this possibly happened or have I just hit one of the wires? I've been extremely careful with the MAF so I'm really thinking the spray bent the damn wire. lol, wtf?
Like I said, it was just a hundred shot at 9'' away.

Anyone done this before? I've heard of some guy running a 200 shot @ 2-3'' away so I'm somewhat shocked.

They are pretty fragle.....We actually shoot the nitrous streight into the sidewall of the intake tube so that will not happen and also the engine will suck the nitrous into the engine with the normal airflow... We feel that the maf will see a better more consistant nitrous flow....

Yes spraying directly on the maff wires could result in bending and damaging them.

Here's how my setup looks currently. I just bought a few more intake pieces to relocate the MAF to right before the 90 degree elbow. Hopefully this is enough room to keep all of the wires unbent.

Motor does that when MAF freezes.
