Default Am I Safe?

hey guys

I'm thinking ahead to my dyno tune coming up in the spring...or sooner if this winter crap goes away

over the winter i put in the TSP MS3 cam, here are the specs:
237/242 .603/.609"

113 degrees of lobe separation

http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=170&catid=44 for those interested

I was going to spray 150, but I am wondering if I'm going to be risking burning a piston or any other type of damage. I don't want to push the car hard or anything.

Should I stick with a 100 shot?

mods are in the sig, but the big ones for this are:
Walbro 255 fuel pump
NOS Plate Wet Kit

thanks guys

If it's all tuned with a good a/f, you should be fine. There are no gaurantees with nitrous though, you have to be smart if you want to be safe...and even then it doesn't always work out. I've known of LS1s that sprayed for years and never had problems, then I've seen ones blow the motor before the season is even over. If it's a risk you aren't willing to take, then nitrous isn't for you.

It's not really that the board is slow, it's just that the "is nitrous safe?" question has been asked a countless # of times.

i'm not worried about whether its safe in general, the kit is already on the car, i mean with my new cam, and how it will react

well from what I see in your sig I think youll be ok with 150 just make shure that your car is up to handling the power ie. fuel pump, A/f is good. I sprayed 150 at my old car when it was pretty much stock with a lid and cutout never really had any problems from it for the two seasons that I had it.
