Well my budget is a lil tight but no to tight, but patience has always been a great thing in some cases.. I have a 02 A4 dd and its a weekend warrior, its also going into the shop th 27th for heads and cam. I want to do the nitrous bit but dont know whether to buy cold fusions ls1's wet kit for $469 and accesories such a window switch,WOT switch, etc or just be patient and save up the money and go with direct port and suggestions???

well first of all direct port kits are wet kits.
well what HP shot are you tryin to accomplish?
for 175 and below Dry or wet shot can be accomplished.
over that id think youd want a direct port shot.

are you installing yourself?

either way youll need all those accessories. the $400 will get you just a basic kit. itll take from 800-1500 for a full all out safe kit.
and then if you want a progressive controller its another $200.

the necessities to all n20 systems:
purge, WOT switch, Low fuel pressure safety switch, bottle heater, bottle blanket. those are a must!

direct port would prob cost you about 2k when all is said and done.
but allows about 150-500 hp shot.

Depends on how much you plan on spraying. Unless you plan on spraying a 200+ shot my suggestion would be for a single/dual nozzle kit.

No accessories are needed.
For $300 a 200hp single nozzle dry shot is a piece of cake.
It doesn't get any simpler than that.

My suggestion would be a dry kit from Nitrous Direct.

I like dry also. But if you are set on a wet hit, please consider the PRO Wet, a very nice kit. If ya go dry, the PRO Dry is only 525 and has dual SS nozzles and 400hp noid and some of the safety stuff included. Please buy form a site sponsor to help support ls1tech. HSW and Nitrous Direct both carry Cold fusion products in various forms. Check them out.
