Default need help!

last time i posted here about a converter and spray a couple of guys told me that the 3600 stall i was getting was to much so i went out and ordered a tci street fighter converter from summit. the guy on the phone had said it will come with an anti balloning plate. i just checked the order status and ran the part number through their site and it shows no anti balloning plate so i called them and they told me the f*cked up and that i should send it back. now can i safely spray a 125 shot on this converter (3000-3500). (i'm planning on running a 60 shot out of the hole )

I would say yes.
People routinely hit stock converters with more juice than that.

I think you'll be fine too. Granted my car is light, I'm still running a $400 N/A only Midwest converter (225 shot). No anti balloning plates or HD sprag.

However, I will say this. At the time I never intended to hit this converter with more than a 125 shot so I was talked out of the nitrous upgrade by the vendor. If I had to do it all over again I would have spent the extra money for the upgrade and peice of mind. If it was me, I would think ahead and send it back.

BTW: Why where you talked out of the 3600 stall?

well i was talked out of it from some friends and considering a couple guys said that was too high of a stall for the spray. the stall was used in 2 cars before mine anyway and i thought i was getting a deal but i found this tci for $4 more then what the guy was going to charge me. but i called a local speed shop and they had told me that all ls1 tci converters come with a top insert that acts like a anti balloning plate and that i would have no problem running this verter on the spray. plus he said that this converter will stall to about 3500 where as the vig i was going to pick up was going to stall to about 4000. but i thank you guys for the feedback
