I just put my msd digital window switch in my 2002 trans am which I am useing for my nitrous. Well I hooked everything the way it says to, like your power ground etc.. Well when I got to the white wire on it, it said to hook it up to the tach wire which is the white wire too and It is pin 10. I start the car then and the window switch is at and Idel 3800 what world the problem be

i think you have the window switch set to 8 cly mode. switch it to 4cly mode. the tach signal on a ls1 is more of a 4cly than 8.

Yep thats probly what it is I actually called msd because the directions say to put it in cyl 1 mode for ls1's and they told me that i got a defective one come to find out you just need to set it to 4cyl mode and it works fine to bad not all the people working there know that i had to talk to 3 people there before some one knew what was going on.
