Did you change injectors or the fuel pump? Just curious.

Why are most people afraid of the dry system? To the best of my knowledge....a dry kit is actually safer isn't it? And it make sjust as muck power right?

i have ran 3 custom dry kits ranging from 50-150. the only thing that i liked, was being able to hide it. wet kits are more efficient IMHO.

X-amount of nitrous/fuel equals same results wet or dry, with dry having a better safety margin. Most avoid dry because going over about 125hp then injectors come into play. however, HP Tuners has it set-up for easy rescaling of injectors and the cost for new injectors is small. Injectors and a base dry kit is still cheaper than a wet kit. I have done several dry kits 100/200hp single, dual and triple stage. I like it cause the chance of hurting motor is very, very slim. Just keep reading the posts and you will see the wreakage difference.

I had a NOS 5177 kit with drilled jets on my '98 Z, it was good for +10 mph & -1.0 seconds.

I am now going to have both wet and dry numbers done on my car with stock injectors and fuel system in the coming months, I will post the numbers when I got them. DynoTune Dry Kit (per my previous post this thread) and now a Nitrous Outlet Wet Plate system. After each system is commissioned (dynoed individually) they will be combined for a safe two stage. Will post numbers when I get them.

Had a dry TNT kit before and loved it. 415/470 on 100 jets. Might have had headers then...don't remember, didn't have anything else but a borla and lid. Had a procharger episode, and now it's gone and I got another TNT dry kit going in for stage1 in a week or so. Still up in the air about stage2 being wet or dry or dp. Oh and a walbro intank w/ ghetto voltage booster and svo42# dealies.

NOS 5177 kit here, getting ready to see what it does with "no jet" now that I have the Racetronix PnP Fuel System and Racetronix 42 lb. injectors. The 5177 is supposed to be good for 135 rwhp, guess we'll see. Looking for around 550 rwhp with that. Once I get used to driving the car at the track on that I'll add another stage.

First time no jetting, have fun. Split the Solenoids later when you want that second stage. GL.

Beer, get the two stages tuned by themself is a good idea, but also check it together, if not you might buy a new engine. The dry is going to force the injectors to work harder, which they could less fuel delivery from tapping the wet sides fuel source off the end of the rail (makes the #5, 7 cylinders a little lean).

NOS 5177 drilled out jets for a while was great..........now swapping out noids only to a NX IceMan PureFlow to run it progressive with the FJO unit. I have NO complaints about the DRY KIT!

Fuel upgrades are Lucus 42#injectors and a Walbro 255lph intank pump.
