Default Any dry kits rated @ wheels?

I've tried searching but unfortunately the search isn't working too well for me. I have noticed that a lot of the wet kits are rated hp at the wheels, while it seems that the dry kits are all flywheel rated. Are there any dry kits that rate at the wheels? Or if I go dry should I just say who cares and up the jets to get the same amount (wouldn't a bigger shot be more dangerous to the block???) Sorry for all the newb questions, thanks in advance for any help/info.

We rate our dry kits a little conservative, so if you wanted 100 rwhp using the 125 hp jet will get you right around 95 - 105 HP depending on trans and rear.

the rating has little to do with anything. If you feel safe running exactly 100 extra rwhp over your NA combo....jet it until it gets you 100 rwhp.

Just be sure your AF is good, the system is working properly....and jet to desired HP. Differences of +/- 10hp or so with a specific jet size are negligable and have no real meaning IMO.

The manufacturers ratings are there just to get you in the ballpark. many things will affect the actual power recieved from a given jet size. As long as your kit is capable of making the range of power you are likely to use...your good to go.

as far as the bigger shot (rating) being more dangerous...not at all. 100 hp is 100 hp regardless of the jet size or what the manufacturer rated it at. Again...just be sure your operating parameters are safe.

When I was running dry...I would have a bunch of blanks...and just drill them out and mark them for what actual RWHP was on MY car.

Good luck!

I agree with what AL said,
However all of our Nitrous Outlet brand dry systems are rated at the rear wheel.
