Default A few pics of my finished single plane DP

As some of you may remember, this is the single plane intake that Dave and Nitro Daves did about a month ago. Once I recieved it back from him, I went ahead and put my dual purge solenoids on, and bent the lines and such to feed them. I also finished the wiring so it will work in conjunction with the plugs I already have in the enginecompartment.

For the purge I used 2, 175 hp CF nitrous solenoids. I was going to use the ones from NX but I got a deal on these through ebay direct from CF. I made the bracket and bent the lines one day after work. Being that it was my first time bending/flaring stainless.....I am glad that I had extra tubing Once I figured out the proper way to get the right bends and the flare, it went very easy

Picture of purge setup

A little blurry as the camera wasn't set up right

Rest of Intake and wiring

And heres a picture of the car.......Anyone that has dealt with Eastside may remember this car.....Noyzee might........ Although the car has undergone quite the transformation since it was bought late last fall and now resides in IL.

Good job on the purge setup, looks like you spent quite a bit of time making sure everything was symmetrical (and it paid off, looks great.). Were you going to mount the bracket holding the two solenoids to a point on the intake, or is the stainless hardline the only thing holding them? Either way, it all looks great.

I like the car too, those stripes look good.

I did spend some time trying to make sure it all looked symetrical and even

As for holding it up, the stainless line is doing that right now, but I may make a small bracket the ties the solenoids into one or 2 of the valley cover bolts. Not a big deal at right now, plus those solenoids dont weigh too much at all either.

Very trick set-up, nice. Hey, does Dave do the actual plumbing on all these intakes? or someone that works for him? Whoever, is doing nice work.

Awesome setup! I was thinking about doing dual purges too.

I have question though:
WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE CONNECTORS!?
The largest I can find are for 3 wires

I tried Waytek Wire and they have ones for 4, but preassembled, and I don't want that.

I been looking for the same connectors, 6 wire flat, although I'd prefer a 6 wire, double row. Either or. Setup looks sweet.

I got all of mine from Summit racing (www.summitracing.com) They are actually much cheaper than the ones on the site that NOSJohn posted. You can get a pack of 5 6-pin housings (both sides) for $6.95, then buy the pack of pins (20 pins male/female) for another 6.95 and your set. Much cheaper and you get alot more. You can get 2-pin housings on up to 6 pin housings.
