Default N20 and timming opinion's

Ok some of you know my set up, Its a 383 all stroke 12.1 compression on 93 octane we have been running a 200rwhp shot with a stand alone low pressure fuel system with 116 NOS fuel, I have been playing with timming and at this point i am running 26.5* of timming on the spray with 0 ko, The car has picked up .1 in the 1/8 mile on 5* I have done plug chops and i'm 100% sure there 0 detonation,

Should i keep going with timming untill i see a little knock then come back down? Or run less octane in the fuel system? Or leave it the way it is and be happy with it?

I'm assuming that you have upped the timing from 26.5* to 31.5* and picked up the .1 and didnt get any detonation/ko?? Thats pretty high for 12:1 compression and a 200 shot. Might want to leave it where it is just to be safe..

I am also curious as to what your cars put down on the dyno and what it runs at the track? Care to share any more info on your setup?? (heads/cam/trans/rear gar/weight,etc)

I'd cut a little fuel back (the 93 octane), as in lean down the bottom end a bit more. In the lower gears you don't need quite as much fuel.

ref this thread for some more info.

The 26.5* is after the 5* advance. At 21.5* the car went a 6.38 at 26.5* it went a 6.28 in the 1/8
5.3 heads hand ported,Comp Cam custom grind 248/254 622/613 115LSA +2, Built 4L60E,12 bolt moser,3.73s,3540lbs without the wife in it.
the dyno #s are low but the track says its wrong here is a video of the wife last Saturday at the track.
