Your NHRA legal option is to run an electric gauge, although expensive, its safer. I know ppl that run a manifold and line to a gauge inside the car, but in the event of a rupture etc..it makes for a very unsafe event, not to mention tech's see it and they boot ya. Nitrous Daves, Dynotune and Autometer have electric gauges----->

goodrich, actually I did answer it, just not with every bit-o-detail you seem to require. My point was, you DONT WANT TO USE THAT GAUGE IN YOUR DASH! Its not NHRA legal, which means there is probably some safety considerations to take into account.

What you need, if your so persistent and have to have that safety accident waiting to happen in your dash, is:

Option 1 (getting the pressure from the bottle as the source):
Run a -4 (or -6 if applicable) from the bottle up the drivers side, where you will place a -4 Manifold at the end of the line. Coming off the 90* outlet on the manifold, run a -4 line up to the gauge mounting point, on the end of that line connect a -4 (M) to 1/8" NPT (F) connector and screw the gauge into it with sealant on the threads. Then, from the 180* port of the manifold run a -4 line to the solenoids.

Option 2, if you want to run the gauge from the solenoid connection (no real difference in readings) then run the main feed line to the front, place the manifold inline, connect 180* to the solenoid and the 90* to a line that you will run back into the passenger cabin to the gauge with same M-F adapter.

Thats exactly how you would do this, of course, you have your filter in the equation somewhere, post bottle closer the better. Sorry if you couldnt understand what I was saying, but I dont like to give out advice that has the potential to be a safety hazard. You have probably never seen a line burst, or pressure disc let go without an NHRA Fitting attached to it, it makes for a very scary time. GL

As for that vent, the gauge fits, so you just need to pull the vent off, remove the vent vanes, cut and fit a piece of plastic or AL to be the baseplate for the gauge, cut that baseplate out to match the size of the gauge mounting hole, insert gauge, tighten and install cluster back into the vent hole. May I add, block off the that particular vent also, you wouldnt want extreme heat on it, and you wont want AC blowing on it either.
