Well, the parts are starting to roll in. I have the Victor Jr. manifold, and the elbow will be ordered up first of this week. I wil be running a 90mm TB as well. The bottom end is built, using Diamond pistons, Carrillo rods, and a stock crank, and I am using a T-rex cam with stock ported heads. What I am looking at is using a NOS BigShot plate, and a set of Edelbrock solenoids. I plan to use a stand-alone fuel system, and a fairly large shot. Does anybody care to give their opinion on this set-up?

I think I may have to get my stall reflashed, and the 9" is on the way as well. This car will still be driven on the street, and I am looking to run the Hot Rod DragWeek this year as well. Streetability is a very relative term, btu I feel that this combo should work fine for what I have in mind.

 

Sounds something nice, and mean. I been thinking about the Vic Jr in conjunction with a plate and bar system as well. I am just stuck on elbow ontop of Vic or TB ontop? Please post up pics when you geter done!

 

I was really thinking about running a 4-bbl sytle TB on top, but Couldn't figure out how to get a decent air cleaner on it. And I won't go without, considering this is in fact a street car. Too bad, as that would have been nice. But, I will likely just run the elbow and TB, and possibly hook it into a lid.

 

Anybody else have any comments or advice on my build?
