Default NOS wet kit fuel question

1999 pontiac TA LS-1

i just got my wet kit in the mail today and i was looking over the instructions and ran into a problem.

where i need to tap into the fuel system, it says find a solid rubber line and tap into it. totally fine with that but i know there are lines under the hood that have the plastic tube under the rubber.

where did you guys tap into it? which line did you use? thanks guys

Look at the drivers side end of the fuel rail. There should be a cap, much like a valve stem for a tire, under that cap is the test port, which contains the shrader valve. Thats where you screw the -4 fuel line onto. Helpful suggestion, remove the gas cap, and place a nice absorbent towel/rag/etc under the end of the rail. Use a valve stem remover, same type you'd use on a bicycle, remove the valve, dry and clean the threads, and screw the -4 female end of the fuel line on the rail, tighten, and your good.
