Default Nos Compression

Is there a limit for compression when running Nos? What a safe size jet w/13:1?
Whats rule of thumb not to blow head gaskets?

Compression doesn't affect a nitrous motor the way it does a turbo motor because the nitrous is not pressuring the intake like a turbo does. 13:1 is not going to be a bad thing if you are wanting to run nitrous.

As far as blowing head gaskets, I don't think I have ever heard of a "rule of thumb" for not blowing them. There are lots of different things that can cause a gasket to pop such as warped head, warped block, weak gasket, uneven sealing caused by uneven torqueing of the head, and detonation (which can be caused by several different things).

Thanks for all the info. Never messed with it before, so I'm looking for as much advise as I can get.
