noid help pls
Do you think the original guy tore it apart and screwed it up or what? They are NOS brand.
upon more testing i tried again and when holding the fuel noid on, it's fine and never gets hot. the other noid though, I held it on for about 20 secs and the noid got so hot, I couldn't touch the noid. Do you think it's in the windings? they both click and are opening.
In having and extra solenoid for each but not in good shape, I noticed the windings have a # on it. B625 or 630. I took the 625 out and put a 630 in from one of the junky extras and it didn't get hot. anyone have any helpful hints?

For future reference ANY solenoid will get hot at that amount of time.
They're designed for shorter spurts and the flow through the body helps to cool them.
Nitrous flowing through the solenoid is needed to keep the coil from melting. Short one second power cycles will not hurt it, but more than 5 seconds with no nitrous flowing through it will melt the coil and void your warranty...
