Default ? for wet kit users

I've been debating over getting a wet kit or a dry kit for a few months. After taking a look at the pros and cons of each, there is one question that I don't have an answer to.

For you wet kit users, what safety measures are you using in the event that a fuel solenoid fails to open upon activation? With nitrous being injected without the additional fuel, what is preventing a dangerously lean condition from occurring?

Thanks for any comments.

Brian

well its pretty hard to know unless you watch a wideband or wire a led in on that valve, to know that it came on, if it doesnt lite up let off. ( put it on the cowl of the hood or somewhere visibal looking forward.

A A/F switch could help in that situtation. Our Edge controller has one built in.

A/F switch will help for that. The chances of a fuel solenoid failing are pretty slim.

I remember a while back there was a post about the plungers in the fuel solenoids swelling due to oil companies adding certain additives in gas. This is the main reason why I had to ask the question.
