Default Bottle Heater Wiring

Sorry I tried search came up short of exactly what I needed and the link to the bottle heater install in the FAQs is not working right now.

In stupid people language, how exactly is a bottle heater wired? It's a basic heater with a positive and negative wire and a switch with 3 wires. What is ground, what connects to where and how.

And is 14 gauge too small?

the ground on the toggle is only for the light. do you have a relay? if not you ground one heater wire and run the other to the toggle switch. the other wire from the toggle goes to the + battery terminal and just cause you should wire a 20amp fuse between the toggle and battery. my directions say 14 gauge so you should be good.
