Default Hidden Purge?

I know most people like to show off with a big stream of Nitrous in the air or out the vents and likewise, but I'd much rather opt for sumthin a bit more subtle

I've seen some street setups that spray under the car or near the rear wheels (spray during a burnout and no one will be the wiser), but I was thinking perhaps if I sprayed it into the exhaust, at high RPM's it shouldn't be too noticable

Has anyone ever tried sumthin like this before?

just purge it through the motor........its really easy......just rev it one good time at WOT...Your trying to be sneaky about it so I guess that wouldn't work....I have never owned a purge kit...I always purge it through the motor...rev it to 3000 have a push button for the purge and purge it through the motor....

Are saying to spray the motor with no load on it?
also when you purge there are no jets to limit how much n2o you get so you will end up sending a **** ton of nitrous through your motor!!!

I WOULD NOT DO THAT!!!! seems really stupid but thats my opinion.

personally i have never heard a quiet purge before...(maybe i have, they just are really good-thus being quiet) but anyway unless your car is superloud during a burnout, i think that nearby people will here your purge.

I agree with TRYTHSS, a purge isnt quiet, not by a long shot. 1000 psi going thru a little tube will make some noise. Nothing i know of that you can do to stop it either....well maybe. Just a thought that came to me, try having it shoot thru something like a rag, sponge, etc. It just might quiet it enough, for you to do a burnout and purge w/o being heard. (stupid sounding I know, but hey, it just might work.)

I dont know why you say this? With no load its easier on the engine and less prone to detonate. Similar to being on a dyno jet, no load, then you forget to adjust the AFR for real load and BOOM! And yes I used to motor purge for over a year, 175 shots and more. No issues.

Snap, I just seen Blackbird is from Lansing, I grew up in St Johns...small world. I didnt think to many around there still liked muscle cars? Of course havent been around there in about 18yrs since I joined the Army either.

I just always thought it wasn't very smart thing to do
sorta like reving the **** out of your motor

about Lansing its pretty dull must of the time we try to make it to detroit everyonce and while. but other than that the sport compacts have took over most of them are gutted rust buckets that run in the 14's.
now hawaii thats where the funs at

Why wouldnt you just buy the purge instead of trying to do it through your motor....i dont really understand why you would risk doing that when all you need is a 96$ purge kit or just not even purge at all

I showed this thread to my dad whose a machinist, and he said that any industrial store, i.e. harbor frieght, carries an air scilencer for pneumatic tools. I dont see any reason why this couldn't be adapted to fit a purge line, or the soleniod itself.

Hmm, average air silencers for air tools and air suspension (mini trucks and ****) are rated for 150+ psi of dry air, not 1000+ psi of freezing N20

I'm more concerned about hiding the actual stream than the sound cause I doubt it would be heard over my exhaust during a burnout anyways....

why cant you put a jet in the purge so not as much comes out not much of a cloud...and purge it intho the rear tire area while doing ur burnout? it would be hidden by smoke and screeching

just put it in the exhaust. not hard to do and would definitely be masked by the exhaust noise if your car is as loud as you just said it is.

The more you restrict the line, the longer you have to purge...
