Removing a stuck fitting?
Removing a stuck fitting? I have a used NX kit and am trying to get the purge block-off out of the Nitrous noid so that I can install a new purge kit. The problem is that it is in there and doesn't appear to want to move.
It may be in there with permatex or something so is there any way to get it out? Force makes me think I'll just strip the threads on the hex part.
How do I get that out safely?

Hmm....if you could heat it up with a hairdryer might help, I wouldnt use a propane torch or anything. Or use sheer muscle and pray. I have had a fitting that I didnt think was going to come apart, but after wrenching on it a while it finally broke free without damaging anything. GL

I used a torch for a less than 15 seconds and then sprayed a bit of Liquid Wrench-like fluid just on the bolt. It allowed it to seep down in. I took an ice cube and cooled the nut and then just repeated three times and it broke free.
I assume minimal heat on that purge port nut won't damage anything.
