i am looking for a kit, and ZEX claims that it is the safest around. it is going on a 97 formula 4A W/ 3.23 and pretty much just bolt ons. i just dont want to blow up the damn car. so if you know something about the kit or other kits that are safe please let me know

 

Its safe but i wouldent say its any safer than any other kit with the same saftey features added to it.

 

The zex kit has no more safety features than any other kit.

 

ZEX have some good products, but they make very BOLD claims....
The biggest downside to the ZEX kits is the "all in one" control module. Anyone who knows a thing or two about Nitrous knows that your solenoids should be pulled down from time to time to check for wear or seal damage. Kinda hard to do that with an "all in one" unit... Secondly, if you use another brand, and a component fails, you just replace that component, not the whole thing..

ZEX provide a simple, easy to install kit, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's better...

 

If you see the thread where the all in one unit was taken apart those ary some tiny little noids. Now i dont know much about nitrous but it just seems there are some many other great kits on this board. I bought a used TNT kit, if i hadnt got such a good deal on it one of the sponsors on this site would have earned my business.

Everyday Nitrous dave, harris speedworks, nitrous direct,dynotune nitrous, someone is doing somthing new to help us go faster and they are all competitive on price. Do some research see which company you like best and go to them.
