Yeah, a buddy of mine had a Zex kit on his LT1 for ever. I think at last count he was at 40 + bottles. Car had like 190,000 + mile no problems. But in some hoarse trade he swapped his engine for a built 383, didn't upgrade fuel pump, and let some guy "tune" his car while driving. ( no wideband wtf ). Shifted into second on spray, and blew a head gasket. At the very least possibly more.
I have had three LT1's myself, all with both dryand wet kits. Never had a problem. My 93' Vette went 138k miles with a 125 shot dry. My 96' Z28 went 100k miles with 125 dry, never a problem....
