Default Wrapped up on the Dyno 2 Stage Nitrous

Spent the day in New Hampshire with Vinny wrapping up the install on my systems.

Here is Dyno info
Started off with new nozzles in the Dry System. Changed from NOS style 45° to the HSW 90° the first pull was what we wanted to see. We were under 12 for the AFR on the dry (12.5 was what the 50 shot was on the NOS style 45° nozzles)

341.1 HP 352 Torque

Up to a 75 shot

362.5 HP 380 Torque
Right back where we started on the AFR issue We double checked the nozzles to ensure they were spraying at the MAF and did another run, same results. We decided to limit the dry in the two stage to a 50 shot.

On to testing Daves Plate by itself, generally we found Daves recommending jetting really rich, and we ended up two jet sizes smaller for most of the fuel jetting.

50 shot (mistakenly put one jet size smaller than a 50 on the nitrous Jet)

334.2 HP 349 Torque

100 shot (fuel Jet 2 less than Dave recommends)

379.8 HP 430 Torque

150 shot (fuel jet 2 less than Dave recommends)

414.4 HP 460 Torque

On to the Dual Stage set up. We went with the 50 Dry @ 3000 and 150 @ 4000 RPM Bottle had a bunch of runs on it at this point

433.9 HP 485 Torque

Same jetting as above 50 Dry @ 3000 and 150 @ 4000 RPM but with a fresh bottle

466.8 HP 530 Torque

Here is what I left with. I want to keep it under 450 HP. I may get greedy down the road, but for now, I feel confident that this setup will make the summer a lil more fun Its a 50 Dry@ 3000 RPM and 125 Wet @ 4000 RPM

445.9 HP 492 Torque

Very nice Beer, I should be getting mine on the dyno in the next couple of weeks. It will be nice to compare results as I have the NOS plate.
Enjoy your new power.

Yep, dual stage is where it's at, or multi stage. Nice slow torque application. No mondo torque spike to break your vette running gear. That is how I have survied so long with brutal (for stock) launches. As for your 75 dry going a bit lean, two things to consider, angle/turn nozzle(s) up or down slightly, or just run the 75 dry and use your wet, that comes on at 4000rpm, which will cover any lean out from the dry, to tune a/f to what you desire. You have a wide band, so you can try the nozzle tune. Looks like you went a little lean on your final run when bottle pressure was up. One of the draw backs to running wet, the a/f can be all over the board. Whereas, the dry hits will maintain a/f no matter the bottle pressure. Nice numbers though, and I would not be afraid to run the 50 dry and the 150 wet, as your torque is under control, and that's what will break things. Nice work guys, a very pro set-up.
